About this app
AutoHDMI automatically switches your Android TV or Google TV directly to your selected HDMI input right at startup or after a power cut. ⚠️ Only for TV with built in Android TV or Google TV and it is not made to work with a smart stick or a smart box as it can't control the TV ⚠️ Make your Smart TV behave like a standard, distraction-free monitor. If you primarily use an external device, AutoHDMI eliminates the tedious step of manually switching inputs every time you start your TV. ⚡ KEY FEATURES: Instant Boot to HDMI: Automatically opens your preferred HDMI port (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.) as soon as your TV powers on. No Launcher Hijack: Runs exactly once during the boot window. Subsequent presses of the Home button behave normally, taking you back to your native TV launcher. Power Cut Recovery: Ideal for users who turn off their TVs from the wall outlet or experience frequent power interruptions. Universal Input Support: Seamlessly routes to Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Cable boxes, and PCs connected via any input source. Lightweight & Secure:No continuous background services or memory leaks. AutoHDMI goes to sleep once the switch is complete. It is also extremely private as we do not collect any user informations. ⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS: Built-in Smart TVs Only: This app is designed exclusively for TVs with built-in Android TV or Google TV OS (such as Sony, TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi, Philips, Onn, and Panasonic). External Streaming Boxes:AutoHDMI is NOT supported on external TV boxes (like Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box, or external Chromecast dongles plugged into non-smart TVs), as these devices cannot control your main TV's physical hardware inputs. ⚠️ ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API USAGE: This app uses the AccessibilityService API to detect when your TV has finished booting or recovering from a power cut. This is necessary to automatically open your selected HDMI port without requiring manual input. We do not use the AccessibilityService API to collect, store, or share any personal data, nor do we use it to observe your UI interactions outside of this specific automated boot action.
