About this app
Kimocchi reads the feelings in what you say - or type - and keeps each day for you. Later you can look back: on the calendar, day by day, and over a whole week. One sentence is enough. ■ Speak, and the day stays Tap the mic and say how you feel. You don't have to say it well. Kimocchi reads six feelings in it - joy, bashfulness, surprise, sadness, anger, tiredness - and puts them in that day's box as little ones. If you would rather not talk right now, typing works too. ■ Look back on the calendar Every day you spoke gets a face, so you can see at a glance which days you talked. Open a day to find what you said, the feelings in it, a few words for that day, and the recording if you kept it. ■ Look back over a week Lay a week side by side and see how your feelings moved: lots of joy on one day, lots of anger on another. Each feeling over the week, and everything that has gathered. ■ Your words, as a diary What you said can be kept as a diary entry - in your own words, with nothing made up and added. ■ When does it fit? ・On nights when something keeps you awake ・When stress builds up and you can't say why ・When you want to let out something you don't want to tell anyone ・At the end of the day, to keep it in one sentence ■ Choose your companion Six characters to start with. You can change your choice later in Settings. ■ Your voice and your data Your voice is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition on your device. Depending on your device and connection, your voice may be processed on Apple's servers - Kimocchi itself never sends your voice to its servers. Your recordings, the text and the feelings read from it are kept on this device, not on our servers (if you use iCloud Backup, they may be included there too). When "Read with AI" is on, the text and a few numbers about how your voice sounded (how loud, fast, lively and halting, compared with your usual self) are sent to Gemini on Google's Vertex AI. No name or email address is attached, and what you send is not used to train Google's models. You can turn it off in Settings at any time - then everything is read on your device only, a little more roughly.
