Use one when you genuinely need the app; when they run out, the block holds. ■ About the Accessibility Service OpLoop uses Android's AccessibilityService API to make blocking work: it reads which app just came to the foreground to show the block screen, recognizes short-form screens if you block Shorts or Reels, and drags away a floating window a blocked app keeps playing in. It never reads what you type or your personal content, and nothing it reads is stored or sent anywhere. ■ Your data stays on your phone Which apps you open, for how long, and what got blocked stays on your device only — never uploaded. Even with an account, the server stores just your nickname, email, and badges (milestone records). ■ No account needed Everything works without signing in.
