About this app
OpLoop blocks the apps that eat your day, on the schedule you set — and shows you something worth reading instead of a gray wall. Built for doomscrollers. Cut screen time, break the endless-scroll habit, and run a digital detox on your own terms — a distraction blocker for study, work, and winding down. ■ Routines Decide when, which apps, and how hard. Morning focus, evening wind-down, late night — build the rhythms — and habits — you need, and OpLoop turns them on and off for you. ■ Shorts & Reels only (Pro) Block just the short-form feed — YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels — and keep the rest of the app. Experimental: Snapchat Spotlight too. ■ Block screen Every block shows a different card: a gentle poke, a calm line, sometimes a joke that goes right up to the line. Written fresh for each language, never machine-translated, with per-card cooldowns so the same line never becomes wallpaper. Some days you slash the screen and cut the loop yourself. ■ Sprint A focus session that starts right now, no schedule needed. • Soft — blocks the apps you picked • Deep — blocks everything except the apps you allow • Lockdown — holds until the timer runs out ■ Growth Time earned back, blocks that held, this week against last. Stats build from moments as they happen, so a new phone or a changed app list never wipes them. ■ Passes A few short passes a day. Use one when you genuinely need the app; when they run out, the block holds. ■ About the Accessibility Service OpLoop uses Android's AccessibilityService API to make blocking work: it reads which app just came to the foreground to show the block screen, recognizes short-form screens if you block Shorts or Reels, and drags away a floating window a blocked app keeps playing in. It never reads what you type or your personal content, and nothing it reads is stored or sent anywhere. ■ Your data stays on your phone Which apps you open, for how long, and what got blocked stays on your device only — never uploaded. Even with an account, the server stores just your nickname, email, and badges (milestone records). ■ No account needed Everything works without signing in. Create an account only if you want your nickname and badges to follow you.
