Steady is a daily planner and progress journal for the goals you keep meaning to make time for. Choose a few commitments that fit your day, then come back in the evening to see what happened. Start with a goal you care about. It can take a week or several months. Give it a concrete next step, such as “Draft the first page of the proposal,” and add that commitment to today's plan. Your goal stays with you until you finish it, pause it, or decide to let it go. Plan for the day you have Some days have room for focused work. Others are already full. Choose your capacity before adding commitments: Tight, Balanced, or Open. Steady recommends two, four, or six commitments to match, with room to add another when you choose. If you connect your calendar, Steady can use the gaps between events to suggest a capacity. You make the decision, and you can always plan without calendar access. Close the day without carrying everything into tomorrow In the evening, mark each commitment Complete, Later, or Skip. Later keeps it available for a future plan instead of automatically filling tomorrow's list. You can also record work you finished that wasn't in the original plan. Add a reflection if there's something you want to remember. Writing is optional. Over time, your weekly reviews and history show what moved forward and what you set aside. Insights help you notice patterns in your planning and finishing, including which goals received your attention. Steady doesn't keep streaks or give you a productivity score. Keep your plan close Use widgets to see today's commitments without opening the app. Siri and Shortcuts let you add commitments or mark work complete. Optional Apple Intelligence assistance can suggest next steps and reflection questions; you can edit suggestions or leave assistance off. Your journal stays in your private iCloud account and syncs across your devices. You can use Steady offline and export or delete your data in Settings. Start free.
